Total wide format aqueous graphics printer shipments will demonstrate a CAGR of 7% over the forecast period. New low-end units are fueling shipment growth in the wide format aqueous inkjet graphics market. The installed base of technical wide format aqueous inkjet printers will demonstrate a CAGR of 1%. Two major factors are contributing to this slow growth. The first is the slow penetration of color technology into technical applications and the second is that in many production environments, inkjet is not an acceptable solution.
