Research Analyst (Weymouth, MA) The position will primarily support the following vertical industries: beauty, spa, travel, hospitality, leisure, home entertainment, landscape design, building services, technology, telecommunications and natural resource We are seeking someone that has good market research, analysis, and project management skills. Market research activities include designing and coding questionnaires, conducting in-depth interviews with leading vendors, analyzing research results, developing conclusions and recommendations, and developing summary reports and presentations. You will be working in a department with four other people that is involved in approximately 50 projects over the course of the year. You will have extensive interaction with other publishing, trade events, and information services business units in our US, European, and Asian operations to support their research requirements. Analyst responsibilities include working with business owners to develop and implement market survey projects, keeping projects on schedule, working with outside suppliers, communicating with clients on project status, and updating internal clients and department manager. The ideal candidate will have a fundamental understanding of B2B and/or consumer market research, good business acumen, and have excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
