| CAP Ventures Announces Three Staff Promotions | ||||

(Norwell, MA) June 19, 2002…CAP Ventures, Inc., the leading worldwide strategic consulting and market research firm for the digital business communications and e-business technologies revolution, today announced several staffing changes designed to improve the service it provides to its clients. CAP Ventures is pleased to announce that Holly Muscolino has been promoted to Director of the Production Workflow Solutions Service/Document Outsourcing Service, Rick Clayton has been promoted to Director of the Digital Peripherals Service (formerly Converging Digital Peripherals Service), and Joel Mazza has been promoted to Associate Director for the Network Document Solutions Service. "These appointments demonstrate our commitment to provide our clients with leadership that combines a blend of practical experience, industry knowledge, and an understanding of the application of new technologies," said Group Director Charles M. Corr. “These appointments will enhance the services offered to our clients and allow us to better provide guidance in turbulent economic conditions.” Most recently, Ms. Muscolino was the Associate Director for CAP Ventures' Production Workflow/Document Outsourcing Services. She was responsible for developing the Production Workflow Service offering and has been an architect for the company's e-Print market coverage as well as its benchmark Document Outsourcing and e-Print Procurement Forecasts. Muscolino has 20 years of experience in the graphic arts and electronic prepress industries, encompassing various positions in software development, tactical and strategic marketing, and customer service organizations. She spent 12 years with Agfa Corporation, handling assignments in the U.S. and in Belgium. She has also held positions at Harlequin and Cascade Systems. Muscolino has extensive experience in product management and product marketing management, particularly in the areas of print production workflow, media asset management, and print e-procurement. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Boston University with an M.S. Degree in Computer Systems Engineering and also holds M.Ed. and B.S. Degrees. Most recently, Mr. Clayton was the Associate Director for CAP Ventures' Digital Peripherals Service. He has been instrumental in redefining the service offering. Clayton brings a unique understanding of end user requirements, technology, and distribution to his new position. He has worked extensively in the services and solutions markets in addition to working on market forecasts at CAP Ventures. Clayton has more than 25 years of experience in the document reproduction and office copying equipment industry. Before joining CAP Ventures, he was Color Program Manager for Danka Office Imaging. In this capacity, Clayton ran a color program that included product launches, strategic planning, business management, and marketing. Prior to Danka, he spent 14 years at Canon USA. As Marketing Manager for the Graphic Systems Division from 1987 to 1992, Clayton participated in launching the Canon Color Laser Copier series and was heavily involved in developing the color copying market in the United States. From 1992 to 1995, Clayton served as Project Manager for large format products, managing all processes of the business including pricing, distribution, marketing, and sales. He spent two years with Deltak a leading supplier of training for IBM computers. Clayton began his career with Xerox Corp., where he held a number of sales positions. He has published numerous articles and spoken at a number of major conferences. Clayton holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at El Paso. Most recently, Mr. Mazza served as a Senior Consultant at CAP Ventures, working with solutions providers, end users, and manufacturers and distributors of production and office equipment. He has been focusing on solutions and software that offer new opportunities to office equipment dealers and manufacturers. Mazza has over 5 years of experience in digital imaging and printing with a focus on software, solutions, and print controller technology and more than 8 years of experience in marketing, including research, product development, competitive analysis, and sales. Prior to joining CAP Ventures, Mazza worked for Electronics for Imaging (EFI). While at EFI, he worked as a Product Manager and Competitive Analyst, focusing on new server development and market research. Prior to joining EFI, Mazza worked at Konica with its Digital Systems Solution Group. Mazza is a graduate of Bryant College, where he received a B.S.
