Associate Consultant Leonor Ciarlone has over 12 years of experience analyzing, designing, and developing information-based applications in a variety of industries including manufacturing, insurance, and software development. She has served as an Analyst and an Architect for companies including FM Global, Commercial Union Insurance, EMC Corporation, Inso Corporation, Intellution, Inc., and General Cinema Corporation. Prior to joining InfoTrends, Ms. Ciarlone was an Electronic Publishing Consultant and Technical Project Manager at FM Global. In this capacity, she led the implementation of an end-to-end, XML-based application for the authoring, production, and distribution of the company’s data sheet library. Ms. Ciarlone has provided numerous presentations on XML and related standards for various technical communication conferences, written electronic publishing software reviews for EMedia Magazine, and has judged local and international online communication competitions. Ms. Ciarlone is a former President of the Boston Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication and has won multiple awards from chapter competitions. She earned a B.A. Degree in Journalism from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. |
