Hot Topic: Young Adults Active Camera Phone Photographers

Camera phone users who took pictures with their handsets were asked how many images they typically captured in a given three-month period. Among total respondents, the mean was 26.8 camera phone photos every three months and the median was 10. Nevertheless, it should be noted that younger respondents—particularly teenagers—captured considerably more camera phone photos than their older counterparts.

While this data comes from InfoTrends’ 2009 Mobile Photography End-User Survey, we have also published a special report focusing on this younger consumer segment entitled Spotlight on Teenagers and Young Adults: Mobile Photography.
